Disclaimer: I don't own Leverage or most of the magical concepts in this fic. I'm not making any money off of it nor do I have any money to give you. For any powers that be who haven't gotten the message yet, this means don't bother suing me. It won't do anyone any good
Characters/Pairings: Eliot/Parker, Hardison/Olivia, Nate/Sophia, past Nate/Maggie, Sterling, Moreau
Rating: PG to PG-13
Warnings/spoilers: language (but none of that's in English), non-explicit violence
Summary: When a job goes wrong, Eliot finds himself forced into an impossible task. Not to mention he's apparently picked up a sidekick.
Author's Note: This was written for thebigbangjob's 2012 ReverseBang. I want to thank ultra_fic for the art prompt, the cheerleading, and the amazing story-specific artwork. I'd also like to thank everyone over on the support comm for who helped with brain-storming and other forms of encouragement. Finally I'd like to thank my friend Lauren for letting complain to her about how I kept stalling and didn't think I'd manage to get done in time and for letting me bounce ideas off of her.

Author's Note: First off, I'd like to thank ultra_fic both for her amazing artwork and also for her encouragement and letting me bounce ideas off of her. This fic would not exist without her.
Second, I'd like to start out by saying that I am not fluent in any dialect of Gaelic, French, or Russian. If you are and you notice any linguistic mistakes, please, please tell me so I can fix them. Also for especially the Gaelic, if anyone can give me pronunciation guides, that would be greatly appreciated. Some words I definitely know the pronunciation but others I am significantly less than certain. I'd like to add that to the glossary, but I don't want to put it down wrong.
As always, feed back is greatly appreciated.

Not to mention, I don't handle it well when I can't get places on my own. To paraphrase Jack Sparrow, a car is not just a body, an engine, and a set of wheels. That's what a car needs. What a car really is, what Ruby is, is freedom. I don't do well without that.
